Each calendar measures 11” x 11” and was printed locally in Portland, Oregon, by Paperjam Press.
PLANT BODIES is this year's theme. In an effort to connect to my own body and its needs more deeply, I created a series of artwork depicting people and plants. I want to give myself the permission to have seasons, to drink water, to rest, and to flower.
The illustrations were made in watercolor and gouache.
Like Lettie Jane's calendars of past years, this one will include moon cycles, funny holidays, and birthdays of artists and personal heroes.
